Birds of Prey Workshop at Wye Marsh
Midland, ON – Enjoy a one day hands on workshop with our skilled Master Falconer, Matt Lieberknecht who will provide an overview of: history of falconry, how to work with Birds of Prey, falconry apprenticeship requirements, and the equipment, health and food requirements of these magnificent birds. Learn some very exciting and interesting traits and behaviors that each of the different species possess. Observe spectacular aerial displays and enjoy the opportunity to have a bird on your fist and fly one yourself.

Full Moon Critters of the Night
Midland, ON - Experience nature as few people do… At night! Grab a flashlight and join the Wye Marsh naturalists to search for the most interesting and secretive creatures in the animal world. You’ll find some of the most amazing night life as we look for owls, bats, and raccoons.

Fall Badge Days
Midland, ON - Calling all Scouting Groups who love to earn badges! Come to Wye Marsh and enjoy outdoor adventures all day. Beavers can earn 1 badge, Cubs can earn 2 badges while Scouts can earn 3 – all in one enjoyable day!
We also offer overnight accommodation for residential camp which includes additional badge work. Please call 705-526-7809 for information on badges and times or to inquire about our overnight residential programs. Pre-Registration required!
GPS Training Workshop
Midland, ON - The future has arrived! Now we can pass our high tech skills on to you! Global Positioning Systems allow a connection from the palm of your hand to satellites in space to navigate any point on our planet. Join us for a two-hour introduction to the basic functions of GPS navigation including understanding way-points, marking and entering way-points, Geo-caching, and following directional indicators. After a quick introductory lesson, we will send you on our GPS course, “Adventures in Conservation”, highlighting lessons on sustainability and visiting the Marsh’s most fascinating areas. Pre-Registration is recommended
